STEREOTYPE : A statement made of a group of people based off of how some members act.
IF YOU WEAR GLASSES, YOU’RE A NERD.
- plenty of people wear glasses, famous, too
- many wear contacts to avoid being “a nerd”
IF A GUY TALKS TO MORE THAN ONE GIRL, HE’S A
PLAYER.
- guys can have multiple female friends
IF YOU WEAR BLACK, YOU’RE GOTHIC.
- black may be one of the colors you have the most of
- black may be your favorite color
IF YOU AREN’T WITH SOMEONE ELSE, YOU’RE A LONER.
- you could be meeting someone
- you enjoy your space
- you just need to clear your head
IF YOU DRESS NICE, YOU’RE PREPPY.
- people express themselves through clothes
- some people try to look nice for a certain someone
- sometimes its needed for a special occasion
IF A GIRL WEARS A T-SHIRT AND JEANS, OR LIKES
SPORTS, SHE’S A TOMBOY.
- girls don’t always have to dress nice
- sometimes females just want to be comfortable
IF YOU ARE SAD AND DON’T WANT TO TALK TO
ANYONE FOR LITTLE BIT, YOU ARE DEPRESSED.
- you could have failed a test
- there may have been a death in the family or problems
- may have lost a pet
- best friend might be moving away
IF YOU LISTEN TO METAL MUSIC, YOU’RE HARDCORE.
- there’s more metal music than anything else
- just because it isn’t “normal” doesn’t mean it’s hardcore
- people listen to more than one music genre
IF YOU DRAW, YOU’RE ARTSY.
- drawing could be a stress relief for some people
- some people draw because they have nothing else to do
